Nicolas Remy got third place in The Underwater World category with a photograph of a crested horn shark nibbling on an egg.
Meanwhile, Babak Mehrafsahar earned second place in the Magic of Plants category with a magnificent photograph of trees in the desert.
The tournament, now in its 15th year, received over 15,000 submissions from 107 nations across the world.
